A very popular and versatile frame, box frames can be used for both prints and deeper 3d objects. They are made from a lacquer coated pine and are available with a choice of different colour backing boards to compliment any picture. The moulding measures 20mm in width and 42mm deep, and can hold items up to 33mm in depth. Frames are fitted with a spacer or inner fillet to create the depth between the backing and glass/perspex front. Frames up to and including 20×16 inches are fitted with glass, anything larger is fitted with perspex. All frames can be used in portrait and landscape. All sizes come ready to hang and sizes up to 14×11 inches are also fitted with a strutback so they can be used as a freestanding frame. Please note that the size refers to the glass or MDF size, not the overall size. Due to the inner spacer fitted inside, the maximum usable space is approximately 1cm smaller.

Each frame is fitted with glass, mdf backing board and picture hanger. Frames also come with a fillet known as a spacer to create a gap between the acryclic glazing and the artwork.
The measurements provided are the glass/picture size and not the overall size. Frames over 20×16 come with high clarity plastic safety glass.
